when you have to be overseas working to feed your family, it sucks balls big time to hear that someone close to you is in a bad shape, or worse have passed away. you weren't there to be with him/her for the last time. there will always be that regret there that you weren't with the person. but what can you do when you have the rest of the family to feed? it reminds me of my own regret. going to supper when clearly he didn't want to be left alone. promising him that i'll be back in the morning. only, when morning did come, he wasn't there anymore. so yes. it sucks balls. and i hereby offer my condolences. sigh. death. so inevitable.
